This place was decent. I've been here a couple times for breakfast. They have plenty of options and good food. I enjoyed the oatmeal and the migas platter. The service is friendly but slow. I'd go here again for a less obvious chain breakfast than, say, Bob Evans, but I'm not sure it's worth the wait particularly on weekend mornings, though.
Review Source:I am updating my review of LePeep. Â We stopped back for breakfast last weekend and I feel like the management has gotten their act together. Â My breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. Â Our food was hot, well prepared and delivered very quickly. Â It's great that this newer restaurant in our town is such a good place for Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast. Â The restaurant was busy, a testament to that fact.
Review Source:Not too bad. Â I had high hopes based on the buzz about other Le Peeps. Â The gooey buns were ok, but undercooked. Â The crepe was good and very fresh and the peasant potatoes were really good, much better than your average breakfast potatoes or hash browns. Â My only real issue was they served my cinnamon glazed apples cold, which was just odd and kinda gross to me. Â Â They had a good flavor and I took them to go so I could eat them at home how I like them. Â Â My friend had to send back 2 burned bagels, although I will leave that to her to penalize them for, but it did make breakfast a little odd when I am not eating to be polite while waiting for her bagel to be retoasted and hoping my food does not get too cold.
Review Source:This place was really great! There aren't many good breakfast restaurants in Valpo as most of them serve greasy food without much of an atmosphere. It was cute inside-- exposed duct work, etc. I took my grandmother here and she got a breakfast sandwich that was really good and quite large. I got crepes that were filled with sweet cheese and had fruit on top. The cheese mixture had orange zest in it and it was delicious! Service was pretty good-- took a little while to get the food but it was worth the wait! Total bill was only $20 including tip!
