Oh Legends, you sweet, sweet haven of booze. Jenn and I booked it to Waco so we could experience yet another face-melting performance by The Vehicle Reason. This time, Missy and her band (Likely Story) opened the show. We arrived just in time to watch the last couple songs of Likely Story. We drove really fast Missy, really we did!
The acoustics aren't that great for band performances, but the space is huuuuge with enough rooms to allow for more than one performance at the same time. The main room is laid out well with a large area to sit at tables, lounge on couches, stand in front of the stage and play some stupid boxing game that you'll end up playing all night. Okay it's not so stupid because after the guys' show they did entertain us by playing it. Â
The employees were all really cool and helpful. They weren't the best at pours and knowing what goes into what, but what they lacked in know-how, they made up for in eagerness. Plus both the guys and gals were pretty cute, and that never hurts. Anyway, it was the grand opening and I'm sure they have worked out all their kinks by now. I'd go again if I lived in Waco. I'd go again and play that damned addictive boxing game.
