This is definitely a hole in a wall in the Kirkland area. If you're looking for a fancy pub/bar, this is not definitely not it.
The food is decent enough and service is friendly. The beer is cheap if you share a pitcher among friends. Old fashion dart and game machines and sometimes a live music performance probably from people around the area.
It took me a couple of times to get use to the layout and I do feel like this place has a lot of character. Rumor has it that you can get some value saving seafood. I have yet to try it.
Fair warning, this place isn't for everyone.
I have even call for Cherlise to come and serve me...She continued to ignore me.
I have been coming here for years. I cannot believe that she is treating me like this. I have not caused any problems.
She did not serve me for 1 hour!!! Â I do not know if this is discrimination. She walks over to over customers and serves them.
She now adds an insult to this situation by telling all the customers that she does not like this guy! I now know this is discrimination in a public place!!! All I am asking for is service.
I would not recommend this place!
By The Way... $37.99 for king crab and $27.99 for the dungeness. I highly recommend not wasting your time with the dungeness. I put down 2 full kings in the amount of time my buddy fought with 2 small dungeness. The kings come with the shell sliced so you just pull out the big chunk of meat and move on. Dungeness you have to crack and fight for each morsel. One more tip, they'll try to get you with breadsticks and some other sides, forget you ever saw them, LOL.
Review Source:I go there to play pool, and eat some food. They have desert on the menu, but they never have it available so that is why I'm only giving a 2 star. They need to update their menu. the last time I was here the group I was with all shared some of the food, we all ended up getting sick afterwards, so probably won't be eating their food again. However prior to this experience we have had their food in the past and it was good considering it is a bar.
Also their prices on drinks vary depending on which server you have. I love playing pool there, they only have two tables but every time I have been there both tables have been open. They have a little dance floor, so on the weekends when the DJ is there people can dance if they want to.
The servers have all been very helpful and nice. The beer from the tap is a little watered down, and so are their mixed drinks but what it is a business that has to make some profit, so its not surprising.
Also when the DJ isn't there you can play music from your phone if you have the Mytouch App on your phone, however if you play music that they don't like that much they turn it way down.
This place should be investigated for fraud. Â I believe they are intentionally watering down their beers on tap to save money. Â I went here after work recently with a friend to get some beers. Â I first order a Mac & Jack. Â I take one sip and it was completely watered down and flat. Â I decided to deal with it to save the peace and enjoy the company of my guest. Â Next I got a Guinness. Â I thought maybe the Mac was just bad luck, and that surely they can't mess up a Guinness. Â Wrong. Â It was the worst, most disgusting beer I've ever had in my entire life. Â It nearly made me gag. Â It was as if it was 50% beer, 40% water, and 10% soap. Â My final two beers were out of a bottle as I knew they couldn't screw that up. Â I will never step foot in this establishment again. Â If you must go, only drink out of a bottle.
Review Source:My drink I would give a 5 out of 5. Â I do not know what it was, but the bartender asked If I would trust him to make a drink guaranteed to please. Â it basically tasted like a strawberry starburst candy, but not too sweet. Â I know it had fresh lemon in it, but unfortunately did not watch what all was poured into that delicious cocktail.
The reason I give it less stars is the crowd. Â The D.J. was AWESOME. Â I love nothing more than D.J.'s that mix really good music videos. Â
So why the 3 stars? Â The crowd sank this Titanic. Â Two thumbs down go to all of the strippers who were living it up on the dance floor as it must have been their night off. Â The dancing was a bit too erotic for the casual environment. Â I was witness to a guy get bitched out by his upset date for gawking too much at the lewd dropping and gyrating that was going on. Â Additionally, the coked out thugs grinding their teeth, standing in a large group off to the left of me freaked me out.
We came here to watch a UFC fight and felt that it was a pretty fantastic venue for watching the fights. The accepted reservations and we arrived around 5:30 and were seated at our assigned table. The bar has projection screens covering every inch of the wall so there is not a bad seat in the house. We ordered from the UFC Menu which is slightly different in price from their everyday menu (increased $1-$2). We started with the buffalo wings which were pretty lackluster.....a little soggy and I really like mine hot and crispy....oh well. We then had an order of sliders and French fries which were very tasty. The service was great and all the staff seemed very friendly. I would come here again to watch another event.
Review Source:When it's good, it's great.
This is my neighborhood bar, and most of the time it's a pretty chill place to have a beer and relax with friends. Some weekends and during big games it can get pretty crowded with college kids who are still learning how to hold their booze, and you sometimes have to cause a scene to get a hold of the waitress (They generally only have one or two working, even when it's packed.)
Pool is free on Sunday and Monday, pitchers of Busch Light are $6 ($5 at HH), and the food is pretty legit. They have tons of TVs, no matter where you sit you'll see the game, and they host the fights with no cover. Reserve a table or show up early and make friends with the staff  if you want to be taken care of when it's busy though.
There's plenty of classy, and trendy bars down town for the Kirkland yuppies. If you're over 25 and sweat for a living, then the lime is a good place to relax.
I had driving by the place many times and was reluctant as it used to be a mexican food restuarant. Â I was pleasantly surprised. Â Nice pool tables, lots of darts and new TVs. Â Place is fairly big. Â The host UFC fights (pay per view) nicely as well. Â I haven't tried the food so no comment there.
Nice DJs on the weekend spinning beastie boys, etc.
Fun place for drinks any time of the day or night. Lots of games and TV's. Lots of drinks to serve anyone's taste plus they are served by cute waitresses. The place is pretty big and there is lots of parking. Not sure about the pickup scene, never been there at the right time. This is probably a lame review but I'm still a fan, it's worth checking out.
Review Source:The Liquid Lime, is fairly new-ish!
Only about 3 years old, but it certainly has that lived in feeling, like it's been there just around the corner for years and years and years!
But this could be, because it was the Kirkland Azteca for over a decade!!
I swear I can still smell the Tortilla's in the air!
Actually that's probably not the case! Â Since they do serve nacho's! I'm sure they cleaned and bleached everything good!
They have a pretty great cook or Chef!
So far I haven't been able to try too much of their menu!
It's been mostly limited to the Happy Hour menu!
They have some pretty fantastic Steak Taco's for $1.75 each, with lots of cilantro and onions! Muy fantastica!
They also have pretty delicious Chicken Quesodilla's! Nice and carmelized, and that's hard to find!
I regret to say other than their fries, that is the extent of my food experiance at the Liquid Lime!
But since it's fairly close to my work, I will have to change that eventually!
It's for the most part clean, and the bathroom's are also fairly clean, with the exception of the ginormous waste bucket full of paper towels! Can you say conserve!
I must admit there is also an ever so slight urinal cake smell, that I suppose is supposed to pass for cleanliness, but misses the mark just a bit! Â And there is a chair in the Ladies room that I swear was still there 4 years earlier when it was the Azteca!
Why they left the chair there? I don't know! But having accidentally passed out in that very chair from drinking Top Shelf Margurita's, it's possible that it's story could be connected to my own?
They have one of my FAVORITE machines, the online jukebox, so there are literally thousand's of songs that you can purchase!
And I can tell you, EVERY time I've been there I've heard Whitesnake and The Steve Miller Band playing!!
And here is one of my wicked, wicked vice's that I like to do....
I like to go to random bars, with Jukebox's, of course, and I will find the worst, most inappropriate song that I can, and I will have it play 5 times in a row!
Just to see what people's reactions will be!
Gawd, I get such amusement from this! This is why I like to go out in the first place!
It's a terrible compulsion, I apologize, if you've ever been my victim! I'm sorry for any damage it may've caused you!
Moving on!
They have 2 pool tables, and a slew, that's right a slew of dart boards, if I had to guess I'd say about 8 of them, as well as a plethora of Vizio plasma TV's! And they are good for watching a multitude of sporting event's/show's at the same time!
As a Seahawk Lover, they are also fairly compentent host's in that regard as well!
The staff are cute and bubbly girls, although the service is not always as speedy as I would like! I seem to get better service when I go there alone, versus when I bring the occasional man-candy along??
This is also a bit of a Cock nest, meaning the dude's are plentiful, although not always of the highest shelf.... more like the bottom metally kind that always seem to fall off the hook! Sorry if that was a crushing blow! No offense! This is all based on visual!
One of my biggest complaint's, is kind of lame, but it's very drafty every time they open the door, the breeze comings crashing in, and you freeze for about 1 minute, before it get's back to normal, and then someone else does it! Over and over and over and over again.
There's alot of smoker's here!
It would not be a great place to take a date, especially a girl!
This is more of a place to hang out in, or watch a game or two!
Hang with the dudes/bud's kind of place!
Very low key, no dress code, it still has a very cool vibe though.
$2.50 for domestic beer as in Bud Light, during the Hour of Happiness.. they don't have a great selection of much during those brief hour's!
They don't really have anything exotic, Manny's is about as high as they go!
But if you can spend a few hour's in a few step's up from a tawdry little bar, then this is not too bad!
And, just in case, you were wondering where that Tawdry little bar is? About 1 Block north, the Denny's Totem Lake Bar!
Walking into this place, is like walking into a would be beach bar in California. Surf boards, tropical murals, sharks hanging from the ceilings, etc. There's pool, darts, juke box and an assortment of other games around.
I've only been here twice. The first time thinking it was a Mexi restaurant, only to discover, we're jackasses and it's a sports bar, which by the way was crowded due to a Sea hawks game. The second time was to see this band "The Mob Law". And again, way too crowed. If you want drinks on a crowded night, be readily prepared to kick someone in their left ear bone to get a beer. There's only one bar, and they get swamped.
