Alright so... I've only been here once. But I had a great time. We popped in on a rainy Friday for some drinks. It was PACKED. There were people at every end of the bar and restaurant. We picked a high top table in the corner and ordered a pitcher of beer... followed by some margaritas (which were great!) and some other things... Let's just say it was a rough week at work, okay? Don't judge.

A DJ started playing awesome 90's jams and my boyfriend and I were dancing our way back on memory lane. We ended up ordering burgers late night which were quite tasty.

Overall the staff was great, fun music and fun weekend environment. We'll definitely go back!

Me and my wife visited Loafers for dinner they had a nice sized crowd. Parking was easy. I was glad, despite the crowd, to find a booth in a side corner of the restaurant.

However, I was  impressed with the customer service. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The food was equally impressive. I ordered the calamari crab platter one of the best I ever had. I mean all the flavors was pouring out of this dish.
I have been to loafers twice each time I've  had a wonderful time. They have a awesome  drink specials, especially if there's a game on. Lots of flat screen tvs all over the bar and restaurant.

The only bad thing i can think of is that gratuity  is already added to your check, even if there's only 2 of you. Make sure you read your bill carefully to make sure you don't double tip.

The only good thing about this place was the happy hour drink specials. I have been a few times before and sat at the bar, for an OK time.

I went back in March to catch some of the NCAA games on a Saturday night. I figured since it's a sports bar that it would be a good choice. I had a Groupon also, so that was another deciding factor.

I sat in the bar directly in front of a TV but could not hear the game because they had Hip Hope music playing so loud that my waitress couldn't even hear my order without me cupping my hands and screaming into her ear. Oh and I use the term waitress loosely.  First drink orders took 25 minutes. I seriously could have walked over to the bar and made them myself. Food order too even longer, because she never came back. I actually had to just catch another waitress to take my order.

At the end of the night I couldn't even get my original waitress to come back and take the money for the check.

Probably wouldn't waist my time going back there unless I just sit at the bar and drink.

I went to watch the Superbowl last night (Go Ravens!) and they had a nice sized crowd. Parking was easy. I was glad, despite the crowd, to find five seats in the back corner of the bar.

However, I was not impressed with the customer service at all. One of the waitresses seemed agitated whenever I made an order--maybe she was secretly a 49ers fan. As a matter of fact, the only server that seemed friendly at all was a bubbly white woman with black hair and glasses. She was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I often had to order with grumpy smurf because it was so busy. Also, the bathroom floor was extremely wet by halftime (ew). When I informed the manager, he barely acknowledged me, and when I returned to the bathroom at the end of the game--it was still disgusting.

The food was equally unimpressive. I ordered the wings and my friend ordered the chicken wrap with fries. I wanted to order a side of fries, but $5 for fries? Really? You would think I was ordering pommes frites with duck fat. My friend told me I could eat some of hers, and I am glad I didn't order a side. Some of the fries were undercooked and they tasted like they had freezer burn.

The mini-wings were soggy with absolutely no flavor. I ordered the medium heat wings, and it just seems like they were doused in a watered-down off-brand hot sauce. Also, I have never had a runny blue cheese sauce in my life; it was the consistency of soup. How can you mess up fries, wings, AND blue cheese sauce? I selected the place for my friends because I heard it was a good place to watch a game, and I was actually a little embarrassed that I chose it. I was also disappointed that they had no game day specials. Seems like they are loafing off of the name they built for themselves and lack of options in that location.

Overall, I enjoyed watching the game there moreso because of the excitement of so many Ravens fans crowded into one place. They also had several televisions so viewing the game was not a problem. Also, I am always happy when a bar has 60 minute IPA on tap, so I was pleased with that. Ultimately, I will not be returning.

I've only been here once, and It's not a bad place, truth is I'd give it 2 and a half stars if I could. I was here on a Saturday night, they have a DJ playing Urban Music, and it's LOUD.
I wouldn't recommend this place as a date spot, unless you and your date don't plan on talking to each other. The food was ok, typical sports bar food, a step below TGI Friday's I'd say, and overpriced.

I think the drinks are pretty good, clientele seemed well behaved, waitresses were attentive, and be aware they add gratuity in on your bill (15%).

Great place to come watch the game or be watched (hehe). Typical bar-fare and mixed drinks offered. A little overpriced based on the quality but I enjoyed myself and my drink so 3 stars it is! After all, sometimes if you want a meal you should go to an actual restaurant not a sporty place like this one.

Crab pretzel was a little disappointing. I prefer my wings fried hard, but they came out a little soft. Next time I'll ask that they fry hard. Waitresses were ok. And Thursday's they have karaoke.

The beer here comes in large mugs and happen to be mad cheap. My turkey club was also rather good! I had fun, had a good waitress, and it's super close to where I work. I can see this becoming my new hangout spot!

The wings here are awesome!  I do wish they had a few more sauce choices, but they are cooked perfectly crunchy.  I also like the peel and eat shrimp.  The best part is the crabs!  The price could be a little better (around $30 for a dozen), but they are delicious and worth it.  Staff is really friendly.  Bartenders are great.  I also love to go to karaoke on Thursdays.  There are lots of TVs so this is a good place to go for sports also.  They do include gratuity on checks, but it's 15%, which I think is more than reasonable.  We usually end up leaving a few extra dollars.

The place just looked dingey.  The waitress was a dingbat.  The food was deplorable.  Dont do it.

Always enjoyed the food. The salad portions are ridiculous. I usually always get a burger now. The burger is amazing and I spend my week looking forward to it. We've started going every Thursday for the trivia. The onion rings and southwestern egg rolls are also amazing.

Once I spilled an iced tea all over my friend sitting across from me. Barely any of it got on him, almost all of it went into the plate with his egg rolls. He'd eaten all but 1. He asked the waitress if she'd bring him a new one. Just one. I didn't think it'd work but sure enough she brought him a plate with a whole new set.

We always, always request Chelsea. She is amazing. We've been in there as a party of 7 before and not had gratuity added so something tells me it is just the waitress you get. Once Chelsea wasn't there and we got stuck with another girl. Our service was definitely more on the average side so I bet that some of the other waitresses are below average. Chelsea never has to write anything down and as soon as we arrive she brings out our regular drinks. The girl is seriously amazing.

I don't really like the parking. It is either hit or miss. Sometimes it seems like there are a billion people there. Other nights we get parking right in front instead of way on the other side of the restaurant.

I'd definitely recommend the place. Ask for Chelsea if you can.

Wish I would have read Joe K's review below before going here. I noticed the tip was added in just in time before double tipping. Let's start out with the Hostess pointing our server out as the "Caucasion one." Interesting to point out the race of the waitstaff...where are we anyway? Thought that was beyond weird. My honey mustard wings were dipped in some kind of mustard gravy- like substance...where was the honey?? They were soggy at best, not crispy. My poppers were undercooked. How can you mess up a popper? My margarita was great....my only saving grace, so I had two of them! Don't waste your time or money. Go elsewhere.

We were in search of Blue Crab and Crab cakes, and found that, it was a fun experience. A place I would recommend, but not necessarily a place that I would call a destination.  I'm sure there are better places in the area for authentic Maryland food.

Food mediocre, bartenders are nice and drinks aren't too overpriced.

I ate at the new location a few nights ago over on Caton Avenue where Pargos used to be. Everything was great. So great, I went back a second time. Well, the second time I went, I sat at the bar with a friend around 5 PM. When we got our check, I noticed they added gratuity to it. Seriously! Gratuity added to a two top that early in the night?? I caught it, but my other two friends who were sitting next to us on a separate check did not catch it and hence, double tipped.

I called one of them and asked if they knew their check had a tip included. he said he didn't even look. While on the phone he looked and said, "God Damn. And we left her a phat ass tip too."

Needless to say, I won't go back. I was really excited about the new location, but I can't stand disrespect like that. It's one thing to add it, but it's another thing to not even bring it to our attention. And who adds a tip to parties of 2 anyway?! Really sad. Sooooooooo disappointed.

Tell a friend. Loafer's is not honest.

Loafers looks like a decent place from the outside, but it's a different story inside. I don't know if I've gotten worse service at a restaurant before. There seems to be only 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant, who are both completely inattentive and uncaring. It took about 20 minutes for someone to take our order for drinks and then another 10 for her to bring the drinks and take our food order. Refills were slow to come, and tip was already included on the bill so they have no incentive to work hard.

The food was mostly good (casual bar-fare) and I have no complaints but the service was horrendous. I would not recommend this place.

Pros: Small crowd, friendly door staff, ok priced food, drink prices not too bad

Cons: Limited menu, inattentive servers, mediocre music selection, no hip young vibes, gratuity added to check (which says a lot about what the ownership expects of its patrons), music too loud for a small place that is very lightly populated, long wait  (30-45 mins) for food even with small crowd, not even a small dance floor, does NOT qualify as a lounge in my eyes more like a bar & grill. Lounge means you have lounge chairs and ambiance. This place is basically a boring bar.

I don't think I'll go to this place again. There is nothing special about it and it can't even draw a decent-sized crowd on a Sat night. If they have takeout, I might try the crabcakes.

The lunch specials here rock.  $5.99 for your choice of three to four different lunches.  On the days where they have half-price burgers you're in for a real deal.  The burgers are hand-formed patties and are decent sized, and are served with a generous portion of fries.  (NOTE: if you get there before the specials are written on the board, ask Denise the bartender for the half-price burgers..)  The fish sandwich is MONSTROUS!  Good Italian and Greek salads.  Table service is extremely lacking - inattentive and uncaring..  Just sit at the bar.  And they no longer include gratuity on the check.  Not bad for lunch..

Amazing Crab Cakes for only $9.99 with fries.  Pretty good drink specials.  As far as a fun time at the bar, would not reccomend.  Everytime I am back in Balto, I head to Loafer's for a good crab cake deal, and a beer.
