Excellent food! The chicken wings were the best I've ever had. Super flavorful, ultra meaty and falling of the bone, I was addicted. We had the herb Parmesan garlic and BBQ flavors. OMG - I was seriously licking my fingers and not letting any of it go to waste. Plus, these were all legit wings - no sneaky drumsticks or other chicken parts thrown into the mix.
As far as the music goes, it was a lot of hip hop which is not my favorite, but my husband and his friend enjoyed it. Plenty of people on the dance floor up until close.
But not sure if the entire experience was worth the $10 cover. The bathrooms were really unkempt and I am a lover of Top 40, which is not this club's preference. I'd probably just come back here during the day time to eat more of their food.
Hopefully the owners will see my review, because I'm about to be brutally honest.
The doorman was a jerk, a straight up asshole (and I rarely ever curse in my Yelp! reviews, but that's exactly the word to sum up this rude individual). And the drinks are barely cheaper than the ones in DC and NYC. I'm definitely not a cheapskate, as I will drop $15-$20 per drink depending on what I'm ordering. But how are shots and drinks going to be the same price? And a shot of vodka should NOT be the same price as a shot of Patron. Are you people kidding me? Worst part is that my Ciroc vodka and pineapple drink was weak and disgusting. So bad that I wish I hadn't even ordered it, let alone tip generously for it.
And I know 10:30 is early to party on a Saturday, but this place was empty and dead. And the DJ's were clearly disinterested and had formulated the most boring and predictable song list ever from an iPod touch.
But going back to my earlier point, the doorman was the worst part of my experience. He was crass and abrasive. You all need to remember: A lot of people have left Michigan but still come back to visit. I will be spreading the word to other former Michiganders that I know to avoid this place at all costs. Needless to say, I will NOT be back here.
