Beautiful location on the water with a huge patio area and good live music on the weekends. It's a great place to go and hang out with a group of friends and dance. The term, meat market, also comes to mind. Totally different crowd indoors in the winter with a somewhat more laid back vibe.
The food is good, but as others have said, pricey. Service is slow and sometimes it takes a while just to be acknowledged.
I go for the atmosphere, so I'd recommend going in the summer.
This place is nice to go have a relaxing evening on the lake. The drink prices are high. There is not much of an appetizer selection and I hear that the blackened swordfish bites are not good at all. My boyfriend and I did get some sandwiches though. I got the California Club, which was very good, and he got a French Dip. He said it was really good as well. Nice band at night too. The waitresses take FOREVER and are not very friendly.
Review Source:I have been here 3 times and each time to have a drink on the patio and chill. Drinks are over priced and the margaritas are down right horrible. If you are gonna have such a sweet spot on a lake at least make a good margarita.
Food was not all that hot either and I felt like I was inconveniencing the waitress I had. Â
I won't go back....ever.
I've been here twice, once during this past May on a Sunday and this past Wednesday night. Both times it was virtually empty; though they were "off-nights," felt like we were holding up the waitstaff from leaving at 8:30pm. The atmosphere could have been better, which I attribute to the lack of any outdoor music (both times it was just a big, silent patio). That said, I would not recommend visiting on a non-weekend night.
I got the strong impression--and have seen driving by on other occasions--that Fridays and Saturdays are more busy and probably have a more lively atmosphere (especially given that there's a stage for live music).
Drinks seem to be a little on the pricey end--$4 for a bottle of Summer Shandy--though I didn't get a chance to see the food menu.
Overall, worth checking out, but definitely plan for a Friday or Saturday.
