  Yea its only 3 star pizza, but some of the deals are insane.  The cheesy bread is a bomb on your stomach so you know its going to be good going down.

  i want to give this place 3 stars but, i just can't. this is not supposed to be gourmet pizza and it isn't. the sauce is on the bland side and the same is true for the dough. it is meant to be a place where you can get filled up for cheap and it delivers on that.
  however, i find myself having stomach cramps and pains in my innards after eating there. i wish my gutty-whats could handle this place but, it just doesn't seem like it is meant to be.

  The cheesy-bread is the BEST in the city!!  My sister always makes me order some whenever she visits!!
  
  I also GREATLY appreciate the fact that they deliver to my side of town!!  Not many restaurants in town will go past 37!!

  Cheap pizza ($5 deal) is ok. But the cheesy bread is a really good when you're in the food for it. Takes a while to deliver but for the money it's worth it.

  Cheese bread! I suggest walking drunk up walnut and eating in.  when it's super fresh out of the oven and incredibly hot - it's a little slice of heaven.
  
  Don't touch anything though, everything is covered in sort of a 'filmy' grime.

  I was recently stuck at event where I was really hungry and Mad Mushroom was all that was available. I didn't get sick, but the pizza was horrible. For the cheap price it still isn't worth it.

  Never had their pizza, BUT i had their cheese bread about once a week while in college!  This stuff is incredible for a light night studying or watching movies with friends!!!

  I was just recounting how many times during my 5 year career at IU that I've eaten, usually intoxicated, the cheese stix at Mad Mushroom.  It must be at least 15x (min: 15,000 calories).
  
  Anyway, this place deserves a review just for its cheese stix. Doughy, garlicky, salty, cheesy, and served with a dipping sauce, these hangover preventers are a great after bar feast.  
  
  I remember my M119 prof having a review session and ordering 15 x-large pizzas for those in attendance.  He was great and the pizza was nothing special.  Bland sauce, doughy, and forgettable.  But definitely try out the cheese stix and enjoy your time in Bloomington.
