- Mediocre taste,
- very limited dinner menu
- slow dinner service
- very steep ($$$$)

Pro's
- location
- the view
- attentative service, but nothing out of ordinary from a Michelin star restaurant

I get that you want to dim the light for romantic dinner or so that you won't see your colleagues/boss/clients wrinkling gave, but its too dark that I can't even read the menu or appreciate the  artistic culinary creation.

Was staying at the Rosewood, and ended the night wasted ordering room service from Madera. If I was sober, the food probably would'a been cut by one star.
They tried to be different with their Caesar Salad (2 1/2 stars), so they threw some butter lettuce in a bowl w/ 4 croutons, anchovies, and a side of dressing. Tasted ok, but of all the caesar salad I've had...... it's in the bottom two.

The Oak Grilled Sand Hill Burger (2 stars) was supposed to be medium, and it ended up being the least cooked burger I've ever seen. Good thing I cut it before eating it since it wasn't the first time this happened over here...... they took it back, fixed it, and didn't charge me for it.
Even cooked the way I asked, the burger was just ok...... fries were good though

If I come back, I'll probably just get the grilled cheese sandwich to be safe.

Meh.....would be what I describe this restaurant if I could quote YELP! LOL!

Maybe, I was expecting too much from this one star Michelin restaurant. It didn't impress me much. The food was something I could have gotten at a regular restaurant with a much cheaper price.

Here's what we order:
Tuna Tartare - It was good, but nothing you can't get else where.
Curry & Mint Crab Cake - Fresh crab cakes....but it was very bland, with little or no flavor whatsoever! The curry sauce at the bottom was very subtle and added nothing to the dish.
Gnocchi - Once again really bland, no flavor. It was very fresh...but nothing special.

With that we had two drinks, the bill came out to $140, not including tip, which is fine, because we expected from a place like this, but with this quality of food. NO WAY!

Customer service was also lacking....WOW! MY server was rude in a polite way...I guess. Just wasn't attentive and neglected the table. LOL! I really can't believe that this place got a Michelin Star! I've tried plenty of other Michelin and Bib restaurant, nothing like this!

Would not recommend it to anyone and will never come back!
