Maggie Moores

Just ok.

Great local spot to hang out with friends, watch a game, etc.  Clean, staff makes you feel at home. Food is good, and while its not a craft brew place there is a nice basic variety of selections (and I'm a beer snob).

Maggie Moore's Irish Pub & Restaurant is the name of this place (I put a correction in for Yelp to fix it).
Great local family owned/run Irish pub. The pub reopened after the hurricane and it looks fantastic. Glad to see them back. Lots of TVs to watch games and clean cozy place to hang out.
Today I had the corned beef and it was the best I had ever. The kitchen did a great job preparing the meat, sliced very thin, and very tasty without too much salt. Came with potato, carrots, cabbage, and soup came with it and the portion was so big I could barely eat half of it (and let's face it, I can pack the food away).
I have had the fish and chips and burgers here before and they were great too. I have a friend from England who said they are the best fish and chips he ever had and myself and almost everyone who orders them says the same.
The bar is named after the owner's mother Maggie Moore who was actually in the bar today so that was pretty cool too. Very nice owners and look to make sure everyone is treated like family and has a good time. There is a friendly family and local vibe here and they seem to make everyone feel like part of both.
I heard today they are getting ready to put some dart boards up in the back to have a dart league and will start hosting hold em tournaments as well. They were also talking about setting up a pretty cool event for the start of summer.
