Sunset Pub & Grill

This is just the $100 hamburger I was looking for in the NYC area ! I love the outside bar with the view on the planes.

It gets one star for the airport outside seating.  The Thanksgiving wrap was dry as bones. The stuffing was breadcrumbs and side dish was cold.  I ordered a Cobb salad without meat (and stressed I was a vegetarian). It came with a glop of guacamole ( menu say avocado and guacamole on it, no cheese and there were bits of chicken hiding in there.  We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the waiter.  He said "yea other people complain about the avocado". Then he apologized about it all and handed us the check.  The manager stopped by one other table to say hello but we never saw him.  Food and service are appalling in my view now.  I do remember when this place rocked.  But that was a long time ago.  I won't be back.

Wow cant believe i have to give this place one star. Use to be a decent place to eat a good meal and grab a drink while sitting outside next to the airport runway. We arrived mi afternoon. figured we grab lunch and a few drinks on this nice day. We walked in and one couple was ahead of us. The hostess was not there to greet the first couple when we walked in. The front bar was completely empty and we waited a good ten minutes or more all the while the servers were staring at us? You would have thought they would have seated us. Saw us all standing there. Anyway i knew this could only get better. We were seated outside at a four top table. we sat there for fifteen minutes, no waiter, nobody even came by. there was a table in front of us complaining about the service . There waitress came to the table three times in that fifteen minutes. Our waiter finally showed up and took our drink order. A mojito and a crown and 7. Young kid, took the order and came back ten minutes later and asked if the 7 was 7 up or sprite. i said yes and he was gone another ten minutes. Finally the drinks arrived and we still had not decided on lunch yet. He never came back after. We both finished our drinks and we had enough. I stood up ready to leave, not even waiting for a bill for two drinks. The manager comes over and says whats going. I tell her that we have had horrible service since i walked in. she says to me who is your waiter. How would i know with no name tags? Id say one of the young 18 year olds working here. We left money to cover two drinks and actually left extra. The table that was complaining when we walked in was sending all of there food back as we walked out. I left disgusted and took my money somewhere else. I may not even come back here to drink again. i know it wont be for good food or service!
