Magooby's Joke House

It was a great show saw Paul Reiser.  My complaint isn't about the show or the venue.  It is about the service and the food.  

Ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and the chicken was cold.  Had been seated at our table for at least 20 mins before a waitress even came over.  It was at least 20 mins after the show was over before we got our credit card back.  Service was slow and waitress only came to our table once during the show.  I don't necessarily blame her, I feel like they were under staffed.  Hire more wait staff and figure out a way to keep the food hot.

This review is only for Magooby's as a venue. I neither ate nor drank the night I attended.

I had seen Magooby's line-up of comics advertised often, but I'd never made the trek out to Timonium to attend a show before. I was disappointed. The stage is an ugly cheap-carpet covered platform and the chairs were just straight-backed seats you'd find in a convention center. I found it fairly uncomfortable and I had a hard time imaging first class performers working here. I would not be excited to come back any time soon.

First time here was sat night, and i must say it was better than expected, nice size club and setting, good drinks and food was decent...worth a visit for a good night out and laughs.
