Eating downtown at 10pm can be difficult in Steamboat.  Luckily, we were directed to Mahogany.  Their kitchen was no longer serving entrees, but all appetizers  were half price.  The food was great and the service was excellent.  I really enjoyed the fish tacos, elk-jalapeño sausage, and maple-duck sausage.  Skip the mushrooms.
Review Source:Great Honey Blonde! My hubby and I tried 3 tapas each during Happy Hour. All were very good! Happy hour starts at 4 with 1/2 drinks and $1 tapas.
There is outside seating, which seems to be the preferred spot. It filled up fast.
We refilled our growler before leaving with what else... Honey Blonde.
We will definitely be back here at some point during our travels.
The happy hour menu is AWESOME. Â After a splash at the hot springs, this place is a much needed source of energy. Â The drinks are tasty, the root beer is very good. Â Pricey, but good! Â The steak skewers, called something I can't spell or pronounce, are awesome as well. Â The sauces pair excellently. Â You can't go wrong with the pretzel with the porter sauce. Â The fish tacos are also great.... and the corn bread. Â If it weren't for the happy hour price, I'd be a little skinnier.
If you miss happy hour, the Buffalo NY strip is also very good.
