ME Restaurant and Lounge

Me is in a nice location of hayward. As a  restaurant  its okay....the food is good, the staff is friendly, I met the owner and she was a overall beautiful person with a great vision but its unfortunate the outcome of the lounges nightlife is a Hot Mess. The dress code to get in ME is Trashy, the crowd looked and acted like teenagers. The Dj kept playing the same songs over again. Me personally is just to ghetto. I'm to grown to be attending a high school function.

I went for the lounge portion for my cousin's birthday she lives in Hayward, so it was convenient.  I have been here before also for a birthday for someone who lives in the area and the experience was the same both times.  

There were about 80% women and 20% men.  We were told the cover was $10 and they wanted $20.  We were going to leave because it wasn't worth $20 and my cousin wasn't in the donation mood but the promoter said he would let us in for $10 and that was fine.  They played the same songs over and over.  Some guys was performing there songs to a group of 25 or 30 people half those people were standing on the stage jumping around with them.

The bartender wasn't very friendly, the top self shots were $9 and they were given to us in a bottle top!!! I have never seen a shot so small in my life.  I am not exaggerating it was a child size medicine measuring top.

All in all it sucked and I won't be returning.  I prey no one I know has another birthday there unless it is during Happy Hour.

My niece had her wedding reception at the ME Lounge & Restaurant last night and it was a success. I'm tired but we, the family, enjoyed themselves. We were quite surprised that the food was exceptionally good. Usually we attend events where you have one item on your plate that's dry or need extra seasoning's). Everything was well prepared, moist and the temperature of the food was great. The team kept in touch with me to make sure everything would be on schedule and we wouldn't have to wait to eat once we arrived. I was able to set up early on the day of the reception and parking was good. I just wish there were more people at the event to enjoy it in its entirety. I even had a couple of cocktails!!! #LemonDropMartini #Cadillac #YUM :-)

We might even be back again for my Uncle's anniversary party next year. Thank you Monica; for dealing with our last minute changes. Throughout the night I kept hearing how everything and everyone was so nice. It a family affair! There were very courteous personnel from the waiters/waitresses, chef, bartender and management. My friends and I will even drive back to check out the lounge/night club for our girls night out.
