Kupe Restaurant & Lounge

I recently hosted an event at the Kupe Restaurant and Lounge. The bartenders are friendly, the food, especially the fish and chips were outstanding and the owner is hospitable. I recommend this location for live entertainment enjoyment and a night out for some fun and good atmosphere. The place is new so be kind to the host and hostesses. If you have an event planned and no where to have it, talk to the proprietors and see how you can make it work!

Service is the worst! It was freezing cold! The bartender didn't know the price or how to mix crown and ginger ale. I went  in nov. and had the best food and drink but after that it went down hill really fast. The Chef and bartender r no longer working there. The owners of Kupe do not know how to run a restaurant/ lounge/bar. In dec. I dropped in to have a drink. The bartender mind u not the same person as before had to make my drink 3x and still don't get it right! A lady there eating told me she got her meal and then asked for  a drink and was told to go to the bar and get ur own drinks. What kind of restaurant is that. Save ur money or go some where else. The owner never payed his employees that why no one is there working!

This is a new spot which I just lucked up on one Friday night to bad I had tickets for comedy show at other spot because they were having a comedy show here which is local for me I would rather not driving to other cities for comedy and drinks but I had a hawaiian margarita which was delicious made with patron my friend had heineken beer which was nice and cold $12 for both how can u not want to come back oh I also had fried plantains scrumptious $3 again how can u not want to return February 10, 2013 will be a dinner and show grand opening I will be there show looks like it will be good
