I visited this facility after a friend was there the day before posting on facebook.
The service was FANTASTIC, our server Ali (I think) was so spot on! She was great!
I tried the Twin Tail Lobster, they were really good.
We had two appetizers, and both were great.
The Beers were fresh and tasty.
Being from Colorado, I was looking for a dining facility for my family that was recommended from a known local source. This was important to me. The Local Social Klout of the network helped me decide on this restaurant.
Been here a couple different times. I can definitely say I've never had a bad experience. The wait staff is always very nice and energetic.
As for the food, maybe I just haven't found that one dish that made my taste buds fall in love, but every time I go the food is good but not overly amazing. One thing is for sure though, they're Ceasar Salads rock!!
Great comfort food, the Philly Cheese steak loaded is great, awesome onion rings, and excellent unsweet tea. It looked a little crowded but we got seated very quickly. Restrooms were clean as was entire restaurant and service was very good. This is a sports bar atmosphere with TVs everywhere and a bit noisy. Figure on spending about $25 on two people with no alcohol. I would eat here again, nothing real special but descent food at an average price.
Review Source:Disappointed for the price we paid for our lunch versus the quality of the food. Â I do have to say, their customer service is spot on. Â We had a great waitress. Â But the food we experienced was just ok. Â I would say average, but compared to all the places you can eat around here, I don't think we'll be back.
Review Source:Okay beer selection (a few non-mainstream brews), fun atmosphere, lots of sports on TVs, good food & prices. Â
Had the seafood in macaroni and cheese and as juvenile as it sounds, it was really good. Â Actually not much different that seafood, linguini and Alfredo sauce -- except it was macaroni. Â My wife had salad with steak on it... service was friendly and relatively fast even though the place was crowded -- and on a Thursday night. Â We've been there a couple times before as it's right next to our hotel, but we'd go back again no problem. Â
They tout themselves as an "ale house"having all these beers, but it's nothing special -- all the mainstream stuff with a handful of micro-brews... but lots on tap so it's all good.  I was surprised they had a smoking section -- not for me, I won't go there ,but still they had a separate area that was, technically kinda outside  with a bunch of heaters; I guess whatever it takes to get around the smoking rules.
But it didn't affect dinner and we didn't notice any smoke to speak of. Â Worth a look at this place.
Oh and GREAT nightly specials -- lobster night is Wednesday and it's cheap and good.
This is a solid 2.5 stars, come on YELP let's get those half stars.
We've eaten here many times through the years and it's always just okay. Â On a busy Friday night after a 15 minute wait we were seated and greeted promptly. Â The front of the house seems to run pretty smoothly.
The food is average at best and reasonably priced. Â We had a pleasant evening with friends with the food being the least important aspect. Â They do have Happy Hour all day - pitcher of beer for six bucks - mixed drink specials too.
The two negatives of the evening were the A/C was on the fritz - working but not very well, and a food runner with an attitude. Â Hell, I guess he was hot. Â
The sound level, food and pricing are appropriate for what it is: a sports bar.
It's not bad, it's not great. It's definitely a solid 3, maybe even a 2.5. I've never had bad service here but I have had weird food. They serve a pretty wide variety of food from burgers to fish. It's all decent but not something I'd go out of my way for.
If you're looking for something with a little more variety in the category of bar food this will do the job.
The menu DOES have some good stuff!!! The Zingers (a perfect chicken strip) are GREAT!!! They are a must! Â Pretty good salads. Really good nachos (chicken). As far as bars go the food is pretty solid. Â The drinks are good, friendly bartenders, and the beer selection is getting better and better. My only problem is the age of most of the people in there is too old. Would like to see a younger crowd like Wild Wings. That being said, It is a younger crowd on UFC nights and later in the evening. Â The bottom line; a good place to watch sports get a bite to eat and/ or a drink.
Review Source:Huge bar. Ton of TVs -- pretty good selection of draft beer on tap. I've been to Ale Houses in Raleigh and Brandon, and I think this part of that chain... We had the smoked fish dip -- it was good -- a large scoop of smoked whitefish with a ton of crackers and a small cup of jalapeno slices... Worked for us.
I'm not sure about anything else on the menu -- but my experience in the other Ale Houses was generally positive. I'm guessing this place is hit or miss depending on how long ago the last manager got fired.
Saying that, it looks safe enough now! :-)
The food is typical bar fare and it's a good place to watch a game or chill out for the evening for nothing special food and decent drinks. With that said, Ladies night on Wed are always fun. I'm assuming they still do Ladies night, but it used to be a fun place to go and see tons of people you know and drink for free! (Ladies) It's packed, of course, but who cares! Grab and table if available and enjoy free drinks!
