Originally Miss Kitty's was the location of Mazza's Italian Inn. Â Mazza's had a significant and storied history locally and on its 60th anniversary in 1990 was awarded as being "the oldest continually run family restaurant in the San Gabriel Valley." Â Economic declines in surrounding businesses within the City of Industry forced the owners to make a dramatic change in operations in order to remain open.
In June of 1994 they reopened the family restaurant as "Miss Kitty's Gentlemen's Club." Â Opening night was a huge success but proved to be the high water mark for the establishment as it never again rose to that level.
What set Miss Kitty's apart was the full bar with good bartenders and non-watered down drinks; otherwise it was just as Jon B. reviewed, "your average ghetto topless bar." Â The dancers, except for a few, were almost always below average in talent, looks, and attitude. Â It was well known that many customers would catch their buzz there and move on to the nonalcoholic nude clubs with presumably greater titillation from better looking (and acting) ladies.
On Nov. 4, 2006 the patriarch of the Mazza family, Donald Silvio Mazza passed away from cardiac arrest. Â This may have proven to be the final blow to the club as this venue has since closed. Â However there are several other clubs (all nude) within a few miles that will gladly separate a willing individual from their money.
Rest in peace Don.
In February of 2012 I was riding by this location when I noticed a construction crew demoing the interior. Â I stopped to ask the crew leader what sort of business might replace this local dive but he was unable to give me an answer...stay tuned.
Ahhh  another 1st for Jonny. Miss Kitty's is your average ghetto topless bar. I happen to live about 2 min. away so I think I am prejudiced. Maybe it only deserves 2 stars. Girls..ive seen better..drinks..ive had better  but it is the only topless that close to my house so there ya go.
