Monkey Bar

Came for drinks and shuffleboard, stayed to befriend some interesting characters. Good service, super casual, the only downfall for me is location - going over to the Boardwalk area is always such a pain with traffic and parking on the weekend.

Cold fast drinks. And my man Greggo is a real cool monkey!

Well I have had a great time here many times on the deck outside. Inside on a weekday it is low key and is mostly locals. One time there was no bartender for 15 minutes? They have draft and bottle beer as well as a full bar. They also have darts, shuffle board, and an internet juke box. A lot of time they have live music on the deck and it's a big party. They don't serve food but you are in luck because you can pop next door and get a gyro to go from Bakkhus! There are also several other bars just a few feet away! Over all it kicks the crap out of the Kemah Boardwalk  tourist trap experience if you are an adult.
