Trivia. Â Again. Â Found out that Mr. D's hosts trivia on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. Â Big cash prizes here too, but along with big cash prizes come big teams.
We were confused about where to go when we entered because there didn't seem to be a host stand anywhere, but we found a server who told us there was a table waiting for us thanks to the manager (we called ahead). Â
The food here is pretty good. Â Ashley had an italian beef which was dry, but the beef was tasty and the giardiniera was really hot (thats a good thing). Â I had a hamburger. Â Typical hamburger, smaller than most sports bars. Â Good fries. Â Cheap beer specials. Â I believe it was $2 for Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Lights drafts. Â Attentive and friendly wait staff made this a fun night. Â Too bad we sucked it up big time at trivia.
Pretty solid hometown bar that's open year-round, even when the track is closed (which as of yesterday, is closed for the season).
The burgers are so greasy-good, and the wings are solid. They have light beer specials on Fridays, and  I've actually gotten a crazy good deal for food on Groupon Now! So keep your eyes open for them
The service was pretty good the two times that I've been there. It's not a destination place for me, but it might be a nice place to go to for a few hours to hang out with friends.
