My friend Richard insisted we stop by the Mug Shot for a quick beer on the way up  to Talkeetna.  Two hours later we didn't want to leave...but had to.
The bartender Bonnie and the regulars quickly made us feel like family. Â Bonnie made the best Bloody Mary ever! Â We'll definitely make time to stop in for another on the way back to Anchorage!
