Right off Springfield Avenue in Irvington is a nice, cozy, out of the way tavern geared for the older crowd. Old music on the juke and low cost drinks, in a low testosterone, low key atmosphere with courteous bar staff. You can sit there all afternoon and enjoy yourself without worries (I play hookie from work once a month). They also offer daily specials that keep things interesting, such as the Wednesday afternoon Crab Feast starting at 4:00pm, it's not to be missed! Â
