Frank's Pit Stop

Discovered Frank's pit stop after Hurricane Sandy - he was the only place open serving fresh hot coffee and breakfast.  This place is gem!  Food is good, fresh and made on the spot.  The breakfast sandwiches are great and so are the lunch sandwiches - so big, you can share!  While you are there say hello to Linda who usually mans the grill and is an excellent cook!  The prices are reasonable and you won't be disappointed - its a nice little place and a change of pace from eating at a diner.  At christmas, they had excellent prices on grave covers, wreaths and christmas trees - shop while you munch!

Wow! Just wow!

Stopped by this tiny joint hoping to experience a great sandwich both in size and flavor. Frank's does NOT disappoint!

Ordered a cheesesteak topped w fried onions and a sausage & peppers w a little sauce and was instantly in heaven. The sandwiches are made fresh so expect a small wait (about 10min) but it's well worth it!

Mike and the gang were pleasant and fun to chat with while waiting for our food. It's a pick up spot so no indoor seating but the outdoor seating (even though it was a little rainy) was great for a cool day.

I'll definitely be back!

I work in the neighborhood and Franks is very convenient. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Its always fast and fresh. Try one of the fat sandwiches. My favorite is the Fat Linda, its enough food for the entire day.
Best part about Franks aside form the home cooked food is that you can sit outside. There is a patio set up to enjoy your food in the sun. Only place around where you can spend $6 on lunch and enjoy the sun. Call ahead on a Friday and see if Frank os BBQing. Sausage and peppers is off the hook. Stop by and tell him James sent you!
