This is a delightful, cheery, eco-conscious family-owned Central American - specifically Honduran little restaurant in Orange, New Jersey with tasty food and a very helpful bilingual staff.
The restaurant is located near the intersection of Canfield St and between Canfield and North Center Streets, about two blocks from North Day street.
This restaurant is very easy to access by public transportation.
Restaurant easily via bus transportation from North/South Day streets and served by the following NJ Transit bus lines: 73, 71, 21, connecting with 79, 94 and 97 but always call NJ transit ahead to verify at 973.275.5555. Â
The area is also served by connecting rail service via Morris and Essex Lines. Again, call NJ Transit with any questions.
Via car: Interstate 280 is within a few blocks.
    From West
      - Take exit 11 towards Center Street/Orange.  Turn left at South Essex Ave.  then turn right at second cross street onto Main Street.  Destination on left. Â
Â
    From East
-Take exit 11B toward Day Street/Essex Ave./Orange.  Merge onto Freeway Drive West. Turn right at South Center Street. Turn right at Main Street. Destination will be on left.
Car parking is tight and available on the street at metered spots.
Note: Orange police are excellent at giving tickets for expired meters.
The walls are painted a kind of sunrise yellow and Honduran artifacts line the walls. A television plays the latest Spanish language soap operas, news and sporting events. Great if you want to learn about Spanish language and culture. Bilingual signs remind patrons to recycle. A large jukebox stands in a corner.
I've really enjoyed the pollo (chicken) roasted,  with Yuca and a papaya smoothie. I also like the salad spiced with fresh cilantro.
