Hopefully Yelp updates the info on this place. Its Jean's Jamaican & American and this place is as good as it gets in Irvington!!!!  The best jerk chicken, beef BBQ ribs, and jerk tilapia! The cooks really spice things up, and you can get sweet or spicy jerks sauce. They season and cook their meat to perfection. It has a hint of spice and that charcoal broil taste.

The beef ribs are fall of the bone, finger licking, and mouth watering good. The BBQ has a sweet and tangy flavor that really brings the dish alive! FYI the ribs go fast!
The jerk tilapia is hands down the best I ever had. This is one of the few take out places in my cell phone that I call when I want to binge out on GOOD food!! Prepare your appetite. The rice and cabbage is great addition to the meal. They have a good amount of different dishes to choose from, and at a decent price. They have selected meals in mini sizes, but it's too good to be teased like that! The owner is really humble and cool; appreciates his customers.

Location is on the corner of Springfield Ave going towards Maplewood and the parking stinks, but it's worth it! This place gets 10 stars for local eats!!!!!
