Ariyoshi Japanese Restaurant

This is by far our favorite home-town sushi restaurant. We order take-out at least once every couple of weeks, and we visit the restaurant every month or so with the kids, and they love it as well. Surprised my wife on her birthday one year with a group of friends waiting for her in one of their "tatami" rooms. Rolls are tasty, sushi is always fresh, the jalapeno/yellowtail app is a favorite!

Ariyoshi does have some good Japanese cuisine (Sushi, Noodles, Onigiri, etc.) but those prices put a bitter stab to my wallet! I got 3 sushi rolls, a Seaweed Salad and hot tea. All tasty but the cost...a whooping $19 dollars. One hour later, I was still hungry!
The atmosphere was alright though. beautiful Japanese decor  (Paper doors, Japanese lanterns, creepy-yet-cool looking fish), Relaxing Japanese music, and a friendly staff.

My fav Japanese restaurant. When I was introduced to this place I didn't eat Japanese now I eat sushi he salad with the ginger dressing is to die for and my fav entree is the Yaki udon. And jus love staring at the fish tank wondering if my food comes from there. Love it eat there a least twice a week.
