Arrival time: Monday around 5pm. Awkward time.
Seating area pretty empty, but was what we expected at the weird time we wanted dinner.
Martini's: big glasses, they don't skimp! (priced around $12 for vodka)
Mondays: No sushi on Mondays. They were also out of scallops
Appetizers; Ordered Oysters Rockefeller which have been redesigned. At this place we received four deep fried things that looked like mini omelettes. I didn't like them at all because I wasn't prepared for the deep fried taste, but friend enjoyed them. (priced around $12 - definitely not worth the price)
Lobster fritters: looked like three mini corn dogs. Not bad, but wasn't expecting deep fried lobster anything. Had the feeling the chef may have been experimenting with deep frying things that should have been left alone. Â (price around $11 or 12 - not worth it)
Mussels in pesto, garlic wine sauce: Served with a large piece of grilled bread which was delicious. Highly recommend this dish. Fairly large in size. (Price around $13.00)
Friend has fusilli pasta with some shredded beef sauce on top. They said it was amazing. Size was ENORMOUS. Â (Priced around $23.00 and worth it.)
Server was very nice, place was clean, but would probably opt for the bar next time.
For reference, prices for one person
2 drinks = $24.00
Appetizer = 12.00
Meal = $25.00
+ Tax and gratutity
Service: great recommendations for food, friendly, asked if I wanted more water even though we were getting the check
Food: lamb with onions was amazing (Server recommendation), seafood paella (our second time ordering it - first time was perfect, second time was a bit under seasoned);
Price: pricey but we had leftovers
Decor: classy, love the exposed brick, violinist (for v day) was fun
