Harusame Japanese Cuisine

Meh. I've experienced better encompasses my attitude about Harusame. Their sushi doesn't stand out as extraordinarily fresh. I visited during late hours (8PM) and had to wait till 9:30 for our first plate of all you can eat sushi. Usually I go to all you can eat places to relax about what I order and eat because I can expect a set bill at the end of the dinner; here the gimmicky nature of all you can eat just stood out distastefully; no sashimi, and you can only order from a limited menu.  I'd rather make the trip down to somerville and go to sushi palace which has a 20$ all you can eat offer, no restrictions, better service, and a much more relaxed environment.

My roommate and I ordered take out the first time at this place. Both of us got some form of an eel roll. The service was quick and the rolls were pretty good even though they were small.

We finally went to this restaurant after it underwent some renovations. I got the combination box of 16.99. This entree plate is a great deal. You get soup, rice, salad along with your two choices and a California roll. That's a lot of food. I got the salmon teriyaki and an eel roll.

I could barely finish all the food but I had some help. This is a typical sushi place. Pretty basic rolls for lunch or dinner. I haven't tried other stuff on the menu but none of the items stood out as unique. Overall, this is a good place for a standard sushi dinner or lunch. The decor is really nice with tons of Asian tchotchkes.

we like the sushi, but forget ordering delivery. I have called numerous times and get their fax machine and when I tried ordering on-line the vendor they use indicates that I live outside their delivery area even though we are in the same town, about a mile away! When I told the owners this they told me to call their vendor to inform them of this mistake (imagine!)

When my order went through, it arrived over an hour late!

Final note: called to find out what happened to my order and told them about the fax-person answering the call told me that I had the wrong number- the same number on their website and brochures!
