Village Pizzeria

Amazing cheesesteaks, the only item I've actually eaten from here. Delivery service, as they warn on the phone, can take a long time, so I definitely recommend getting take out instead.

Village Pizzeria has great pizza, subs and Italian specialties.  The bread and pizza dough are freshly made as needed.  Pizza is phenomenal.  Deserts are delicious.  Subs, hot and cold, are made on freshly cooked sub rolls with tasty meats and accompanied by cheese lettuce tomato.  Delivery is very efficient.  

Don't believe the naysayers about this restaurant.  We order their food 3 or 4 times a week here in the office and we have a lot of other choices.  We choose Village Pizzeria because we love the food and service.

Eh, ho-hum pizza and food in an area where you can get MUCH better quality pizza. I think this place is popular just because of its proximity to Seton Hall University. It's easy, its cheap, and they deliver. I can't tell you how many meetings/functions I've been to at Seton Hall and Village is usually the pizza vendor of choice. The stale crusty mass of cheese, usually cold by the time it gets delivered, works in a pinch to feed a lot of people...but as I said there is much better pizza in the area. Also, for some reason I ALWAYS come across a vegetarian pie that people order, its really just a ton of broccoli thrown onto a regular slice of pizza. If you are doing a broccoli pie, it HAS to be white pizza for it to be good! People of South Orange, there is better pizza out there, you just have to walk a few blocks down the road!
