Chris's Texas Weiner

We finally found a strong breakfast spot in downtown South Orange on all accounts. After trying many other options nearby, most have failed, but this restaurant is a strong choice. The menu is pretty plentiful and the prices are great. But best of all, the portions are fantastic. The food comes out very quick and we had no complaints at all. I went with the gyro omelet and left feeling full and happy. As others have said the booths are a bit small (saw this create a problem for another customer) but aside from that, everything else is great for a basic breakfast spot.

Chris's Texas Weiner Family Restaurant looks a lot better from the last time I visited. It looks cleaner and the service is good. I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich (in the evening) and the sandwich came out hot and delicious. It wasn't busy either which is good. I don't like waiting long for my food, especially if I'm really hungry.

Some of the friendliest waitresses I've met. Jenny and Maria are the sweetest.

I happened by this place one morning and have eaten there like 3 times a week since. Very good food. Small booths though. But the waitresses are so nice it's like eating with family.
