Bravos' offering of my favorite dish, curried goat, does not make the cut. The meat was decently prepared but did not hold enough of the curry favor to satisfy and I can't really comment on the roux because there wasn't any to speak of on my rice (should have ate at the restaurant instead of getting takeout). Currently debating on whether I should give them another shot because I also had a plate of oxtails that where excellent and the sides that came with the meals were exceptional (mac and cheese, stir fried cabbage and fried plantains).
Another thing in this establishments favor is that they are the cleanest and most organized West Indian restaurant on a block featuring three. There is also a West Indian grocery store on the block that needs a visit from the Board of Health, The place looked like the proprietor just set up shop in an abandoned storefront with whatever materials he could find in the trash, plus the putz was kinda rude.
