So I was a vegetarian for 3 years and decided recently I'd ween myself back on to meat. And by ween I mean accept every meat passed around the rodizio and leave my plate with bones.

Granted, my toilet was not very happy with me but my taste buds were dancing with joy. They must have had 10 to 15 meat options and didn't stop coming until I rolled out the door. Lamb, chicken, turkey, stuff wrapped in bacon, sirloin, picanha--they had it all. The best one was a peppercorn crusted steak...the only one I asked for seconds of even though my stomach was about to explode. I didn't even touch the buffet that came with the meal but I did have a Passion Fruit Caipirinha (NOM NOM sweet, tart, and delicious) and shared a pitcher of red sangria with my friend (also NOM NOM) which really hit the spot.

The restaurant is really big and well decorated; kind of chic, but also kind of rustic. Makes a great date spot. There are lots of tables and the bar is located on the side. Happy hour is 3-7pm and half of cocktails and some draft beers. Not a bad deal for those yummy caipirinhas!

Overall, I'm now officially weened and I'm definitely a fan of Rio Rodizio.

I went on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. I'm glad we made reservations because there was at least an hour wait for anyone who didn't. They handed every woman a rose, which was a nice touch. The building was gorgeous and the atmosphere was great, except for how tight the tables were squeezed together and the loud (I mean LOUD) music playing. I wasn't overwhelmed by the "ultimate feast" buffet. I was definitely expecting more carbs - rice or some kind of potatoes. It was all veggies (which were delicious), chicken dishes, and yucca. The rodizio, on the other hand, was delicious. There wasn't anything I tried that I didn't like. I also had a drink from the bar - caipirinha or something - which was very yummy. I'd definitely go back again, but I think I'd try something off the menu next time instead of taking my chances at the ultimate feast.

The best Sushi around this side of New Jersey.

They had 1/2 price off for Sushi on Mondays but they took that away. I still love their Sushi.
