First of all, the sign and the menu do not say "Nealtican." Â It says "Mexican Food." Every item on the menu is so flavorful and delicious. Â Not greasy. Â The cheese used is light and smokey. Â The rice and beans dont kill my stomach and are not necessarily what you would think of authentic - but who cares - they are so good! Â Today I ordered the enchiladas for $10.50. Â There were four - so I asked for two beef and two chicken. The chicken was white meat and the beef was similar to what we call sandwich steak. Â The avocados are fresh and the sour cream is added in little bits to add more flavor, but not over power. Â The drink choices are really interesting: Madarin soda, Lime punch, Raisin drink (?), sangria soda, tamarind drink, and more! Â It appears to be a hole in the wall, but when you walk in and smell the garlic and chickens that are roasting on the spits - you are totally in heaven!
Review Source:I was super excited to get mexican food...As a Southern California native there is definitely a part of me that year para la comida de mis amigos de Mexicano! So with that said...This mess was horrible! OMG! No seasoning on the chicken (as my bf ordered chicken fajitas) the carne asada was sooo bland and kinda tough. I don't know what part of Mexico this food is from, but they should move. Sadly disappointed. Still looking for a good place in Jersey.
