Very good place. Â Went for dinner on Saturday evening before heading to the Bardavon. Nice food selection all around, the quality and authenticity was spot on.
Understanding the place has only been open 3 months: They were out of several wines we ordered and there was no goat (my fav) as stated on the menu. Music was loud and asked for it to be turned down. Waiter was somewhat slow and not on his game. I hope selection and service improves.
I will continue to frequent this establishment because the food is so good and I my taste buds are HAPPY!
I got takeout from there one night - chicken vindaloo and garlic naan. The vindaloo was very spicy and tasty. A week or two later, I tried the lunch buffet. It was $10.95 and all of the dishes offered were very good. They had maybe 2-3 chicken dishes, a lamb or goat dish, 2 vegetable dishes, two types of appetizers (pakora and something else), salad, plenty of condiments, naan brought to your table, and 2 desserts (gulab jamun and that shredded carrot dessert). A nice alternative to Tanjore in Fishkill, although I still give Tanjore the slight edge. I haven't been there in awhile, though. They also serve alcohol, I believe they have a full bar. I will return!
Review Source:My family went there for dinner the other night and had a really great meal. Â We are all vegetarians so I can't comment on the meat options. Â
We started with vegetable pakora which were nicely done and not greasy at all.  For entrees, we had the  pappdi channa chaat (really tasty "street food" dish not usually found at Indian restaurants), palak with paneer and mushrooms (veggies were perfectly cooked and fresh) and dal makhni (mellow bean dish that my four-year old really loved) along with naan.  I was especially impressed by the chaat section (i.e. "street food") which is hard to find in this area.  They also have a full bar and selection of  domestic and Indian beers.  Lastly, the staff was very friendly.
It does not look like much from the outside but it is very cozy inside. Â Check it out if you want some Indian food that is significantly above average.
