LEO'S RESTAURANT & PIZZERIA

Just pulled a fist full of onions off of two slices of an awful pie. Ive had good eats there before which makes tonight's meal a real disapointment.

I haven't had anything here other than pizza and subs, but I really like their pizza. They always have a bunch of different varieties available, including more unusual kinds like calamari pizza. The subs I had were good as well. I'll have to try actual entrees sometime.

We have gone to Leos many times since they opened, and used to be treated like royalty by the original waitstaff. Those people are now gone and have been replaced with a few unsmiling, unprofessional, and vindictive younger people. Last night was the last time we will ever go there after two consecutive visits where we were treated as if we were unwelcome. Example : Last night my wife ordered a glass of wine at the bar while we were waiting for friends to arrive. The inexperienced "Bartender" fumbled around trying to remove the cork. She broke off a piece of the bottle and my wife told her that she didn't want any wine served from that bottle. The girl began to argue that no glass went into the bottle. Unbelievable! We had to tell her three times not to pour a glass from that bottle. She was obviously angry with us. She opened another bottle and poured my wife a glass. Not trusting this girl to not serve us a future glass from the damaged bottle, I told the girl I would buy the bottle that she had just poured from. Here is what she did. She charged me $30 for the $30 bottle of wine. She then charged me an additional $7 for the glass she had just poured from it, and then charged me for two beers although I had just ordered one. When I brought the overcharge to her attention she only became more upset. I wanted to leave but at that time our friends came. We were shown a table by an unsmiling host who had apparently been informed that we were trouble makers. The rest of the evening didn't go much better. Although we weren't in a hurry, it took 3.5 hours to get to the check. During this time we got plenty of dirty looks from most of the other staff, including some guy that came out of the kitchen to check us out. Never again.
