  This location is now closed, but they moved to a new place on Calumet Ave! The restaurant is named "Tasty". Kind of hard to find, but it's in the same plaza as Nick's gyros.

  Amazing, amazing, amazing food.
  
  I've been going to New Suey Chop (as we fondly call it as the name was misspelled outside) for years, ever since we used to walk down during our high school lunch break.  In all my years of traveling around the US, I've never found Chicken Fried Rice like theirs (although I think I finally found a decent enough substitute here in Boston).  I don't know what they add or what they do, but I can't tell you enough how absolutely wonderful their food really is.
  
  It's an interesting place - paint is chipping, and not long ago I saw someone had shattered their front door.  But walk in and you'll smell the delicious flavors, and try some of their dishes and you'll be hooked.  Best of all, it's fairly cheap - I can wolf down a giant large Chicken Fried Rice over the course of an entire day and still go back for more.

  Is their sign on the wall outside still mispelled????

  I can remember calling in for carry out and it being ready in a flash.

  New Chop Suey is a nice take home joint. It is also a comfy sit down restaurant with  real tasty food. As with most Chinese restaurants, the service is really good and they are uber friendly(yes..uber).
