Recommended by the Ocean Inn hotel.. Theye was right on the money.. Slow service but good food.. We were happy we decided to go.  21.95 for a steamed platter. Included whole lobster, clams, mussles, potatoes & corn.. VERY flavorful lots of butter, garlic.. feed both of us.  The fav appetizer  Smoked Fish Salad was not our favorite, bit salty for our taste.  BUT we will be going  back for the steamed seafood before we go back home.
Review Source:One of my favorite places in Hollywood. I love it here. I should have left a review years ago, but never got around to it. It's a proper local beach bar hangout.
It's on the north side of the beach, which is away from the crowds on a weekend. Nevertheless, it does get busy here, as it is a very popular place with the locals.
Food is always, always good. We've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is bar food, but much better than average. They have a full bar and decent beer selection. Prices are outstanding. Service is always excellent. My favorite selections from them are their spicy bloody mary's and the mozzarella sticks. Fish sandwiches and salads are great too.
People watching is prime - local color and tourists fly the freak flag a little bit here, especially during karaoke. It can get a little nuts. Everyone seems to know each other.
Clientele is a little older but still very mixed. Please leave the pretentious attitude at home, it won't do you any favors here. Bring the Harley, though.

It had a nice ocean view on a breezy day so we stopped for lunch.
Great service, cold beer, fantastic food.
I had a wrap that was huge, juicy and delicious. My wife had a salad that, according to her, had the freshest, best tasting veggies.
I'd be a regular if I lived there.

Last night I walked out of the door of my well-furnished and decorated room, took a left turn and walked about half a block right on to the boardwalk. Â From there I just wandered about for hours. Â Little tiki bars, divey restaurants, live music, etc all to be found right here. Â It was a great way to experience a little piece of Fort Lauderdale.
If you are looking for big chain amenities, this is not the place. Â It's a quaint little place to stay right off the boardwalk.
Fantastic little beach side bar. Good bar food, very friendly staff, Fantastic view. Great local hangout at the beach. Great burgers, fish and chips and breakfast. Locals add entertainment and are harmless. Great biker place to ride to as well. Reminds me of old Florida back in the day before all the yuppies moved in..
Review Source:Don't know about the Lounge part as we just ate lunch outside. Definitely seemed like a locals hangout. Great view of the ocean right on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Beverages were so-so as my iced tea was too strong and my friend's coke tasted like flat pepsi. Food was pretty good, though and not overpriced considering the location right on the beach. I had the grilled mahi mahi sandwich ($9-something). Comes on a kaiser roll much larger than the piece of fish, but the fish was fresh and accompanying lettuce, tomato, onions, lemon, etc were good. Tartar sauce on the side. Everything comes with cole slaw but you can also get pasta salad or fries. My friend had a grilled chicken wrap ($7 or $8) that was tasty as well. Service was decent. Food is nothing spectacular but, as I said, reasonably priced and the view of the beach is really nice.
Review Source:I've been coming here since before I could walk. You used to be able to get a free lunch when you parked in the lot next door. The prices are really reasonable for the beach, most of the patrons are locals, and the servers always keep you on your toes with their not always so proper demeanor. Don't ask for a bar menu cause it doesn't exist. The blackened tuna is huge and the mudslides definitely aren't weak.
Review Source:This is a very interesting place with a cross between local crazies, bikers and tourists. Â All of the bartenders are nice and the food is pretty good. Â As far as the food goes I would recommend it for breakfast. Â It is built up so it has a beautiful view of the ocean. Â They have a classic car show about once a month.
