On an off night, One Under is a cool place to grab a pint of Magic Hat #9 and catch up with friends. On a busy night, it becomes part of the Olde Erie/Empty Bottle triangle; crowds just seem to spill over from one bar to the other, and it quickly becomes standing-room-only. Pretty small, really loud, but out of the three it's still my favorite. No food to speak of; if you're hungry, I recommend the Olde Erie (right across the street) or Poor Bobby's (about a block away). Drinks range from standard, reasonably inexpensive American draft beer to $20+ bottles of Chimay, and everything in between. Full bar, good selection on tap and a stand-up cooler stocked with more unusual brews. One of the best bars in downtown Middletown... which means a little more these days than it used to.
