Blue Martini

My boyfriend and I travel a lot and when we do, we just wing it! We love to try new places, new things and we are always on some quest for the perfect food favorites. We were on a trip through New York State and we decided to spend the night in Middletown.  After checking in to our hotel, we decided to give this place a shot since we didn't want to dine at the chains. We had an amazing experience! We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Everything we ordered was incredible. Our favorite was the Lobster Mac & Cheese. We have been on the quest for the ultimate Lobster Mac & Cheese and we cannot find any restaurant throughout the US that compares to theirs. We were just talking about going on another trip through New York State and we cannot wait to come back!

Middletown, NY is like Mayberry-dull, green and full of crickets chirping. Blue Martini is an alright spot for a place like this. Very "A Night At The Roxbury" atmosphere. It almost looks like a club that was built for a movie set which isn't a bad thing. It  just really looks movie set perfect, inside and out.  The DJ spins a pretty good blend of top 20 hits and pop-leaning hip hop. Then, there's that hour when Techno music is king which is lots of fun because everyone on the dance floor just lets it all hang out and no one is worried about who thinks they can't dance. Blue Martini is also a sweet place to just hug your table and get your interracial flirt on too. The bartenders here know their biz  and there's a cool sushi bar.  Just remember to arrive before midnight if you want to nosh while you imbibe because the kitchen closes early.

Terribe service and the brunch is just as bad as dinner...
