I ate here frequently while vacationing in Maui because we had free drink credits here while staying at The Westin. Â The worst entree I had would probably be the kalua pig nachos. Â They use the cheese that looks and tastes like it turns to plastic after 2 minutes of sitting out. Â The nachos were a disappointment.
The best entree that I ordered would probably be the pizza (ordered mine with pepperoni, fungus, and tomatoes). Â It tasted so good I wanted to slap somebody in the face with a bag o nickels. Â
They have 3 different mai tais on their menu. Â All of them I thought were good, except the frozen mai tai.. it was green and didn't taste all that great to me.
Their continental breakfast was actually better than I expected. Â Whenever I see the phrase "continental breakfast", I think of old bread, box of cereal, and rotten milk. Â Let's just say, that's not the case here.. heck, they put your cereal in a bowl for you if you're into that sort of thing, and even ask you if you prefer whole or skim milk.
We stayed at the Marriott next door but ate here twice for breakfast and once for lunch. It's ok. Pricey for what it is. The breakfast was ok, service lacked a bit. Lunch portions a pretty large. The kids like the pizza they made and the chicken noodle soup.... overall it was ok.
Bar was nice, but not facing the beach. The cocktails were strong, especially the mai tai.
