Pizza is great, drink selection is good, and the atmosphere is welcoming.  They have great specials during the week and it is a fun place to meet up with some friends, order some za, and drink a few beverages from their rather extensive beer list.

Although their menu is not expansive, they are good at what they offer.  Ever Tuesday is Trivia night (a blast) and they usually have live music on the weekend.

For a fun time at a great price, Oregon Express is worth your time!

So, I didn't try their pizza, but the menu was a bit of a disappointment and their beer list is a bit sad, considering Lucky's and Thai9 are considerably better in that department.  From the pizza selection I saw, I personally find Dewey's Pizza more appealing.

I ended the night here on a recent Friday based on a recommendation from a tipsy friend we made earlier in the evening.  There was a female-fronted blues band playing to a small crowd.  The band did a great job, and the layout was nice for listening to music. The server was in a good mood and took good care of us.  Bathrooms weren't immaculate.  I would definitely come back to listen to music again.

Good atmosphere. Strong drinks. Awesome pizza.
What more could you ask for from a bar?
    All smiles!

The pizza is excellent! Thin crust and cut into little squares. Personally I think the Hot Hawaiian is the best but plain old cheese is great too. My husband and I are normally at Oregon Express to see Uncle Rico play so we usually come down a little early for some pizza and beers then enjoy the show. I would stick with beer here as there other drinks specifically the Martinis are not that good and overly priced.

This place has come a long way since we moved to the neighborhood in 2002. Currently, they have 50% off specialty pizzas for dine in on Mondays and 25% off Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The three taps they mention used to be Bud, Bud light and Amber Bock, so the fact that they are actually craft/micros is a step up. They have a small wine list by the bottle starting around $17 (including the likes of Woop Woop Shiraz and an Italian Chianti), though you can get splits by the glass for under $5.

Personal favorite amongst their pizzas is one that isn't on the menu---we made it up and call it "Meat-a-licious," which is basically code for all-meat pizza.  We ask for it in hushed tones when we're with our vegetarian/vegan friends, but as a carnivore, it is a fave. Our only gripe is that it is our corner neighborhood bar, and paying $5 cover on a weekend when they are half-full, and we just want to buy a beer...well, we head down the street at that point.
