Over Easy Cafe On Lake

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, always a good sign.  The friendly waitress let us sit where we wanted.  When we placed our orders, (I am a picky eater), she listened attentively to how I wanted my items cooked, and they came out just as requested.  Better still, she asked if everything was to our satisfaction.  Food was good, exactly as expected.  Coffee cups were never empty.  Pleasant, homey, old-time café atmosphere, where they learn your name.  Will I go back again?  Definitely.  Will I recommend to friends?  Already did.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday and the food  was just average diner fare. Service was seriously lacking. Our waitress seemed to be bothered by our presence, flopped our plates in front of us and was rather inattentive - not even a water refill. It took over 10 minutes to get our check after we had finished. It seemed as though she forgot about us even though they were not busy.

It's always the quiet unassuming places that surprise you the most.  A great alternative to the chains, the service is fast and friendly, the food is perfectly cooked to order and fairly priced.  The menu has a great variety with that "extra touch" to make it their own.  We will be back regularly!
