Panini's is kind of a situational place. If you just want to have a fat meal for cheap and watch a game this is the place to be. Or if you want a nice patio they're pretty good. Otherwise it's just sort of an average joint.
Pretty decent food. Pretty big portions for the price, but nothing exceptional. I've had real good service though, and the bathrooms are nice, which is a pretty big deal for me.

We went to Panini's to watch a band play on a Saturday night. There seemed to be plenty of tables and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The downside was that there was so much background noise that you could barely hear the band. I'm not sure if it was on Panini's or the bands fault, but it led to a mediocre experience.

The bartender spent 20 minutes talking to 2 customers.  I had to personally flag him down to even get a beer... And I was SITTING AT THE BAR!!!  WOW!?  He told one waitress that he didn't care that she waited 5 minutes to get her drinks.  Presumably because he was talking "business" with the couple...not an impressive showing.

Adequate place to watch a Sunday football game.  As for the food, it needs help.  The queso sucks--completely tasteless.  I got the grilled turkey and cheese and I swear the outside of the Texas toast was soaked in butter/grease.  I ordered the pretzel club and it was good.  I have a serious problem with their french fries.  They are soggy and limp.  Why can't they make crispy fries?    I had high hopes for the Sweet Caroline pulled pork sandwich...BUT 2 hours later I was in the bathroom.  My friend ordered the Sweet Caroline sandwich a few weeks ago and he, too, was in the bathroom 2 hours later.  There must be something wrong with the pork.  ANOTHER THING:  The menu says their burgers are MADE FRESH?  Eh, wrong.  They're frozen.  We asked.  Talk about false advertising...Bartenders are GREAT on Sunday--cool dudes.

We went to eat the sandwiches and they were horrible, fries were raw in some places and the filling to bread ratio was horrible. Even the slaw seemed off, too much vinegar. A total disappointment.

    The Good:
Outdoor dance area to shake your booty on with a variety of music from Joan Jett's "I Love Rock and Roll" to Sisqo's "The Thong Song" to some country tunes I can't name.  Tasty diet coke and cherry vodka that I was introduced to, breaking me from my usual default beverages. Fairly clean bar restrooms (not that port-a-potty outside).  Pretty diverse crowd of people just getting together to have a good time.

    The Bad:
As mentioned earlier, smoking even after the smoking ban in Ohio.  Plastic cups galore.

    The Ugly:
Woman who decided to "seductively" pull her pants down during the thong song...because that's never been done before.  Also, if anyone decides to go low, low, low, low, low while dancing, please make sure you can get back up.

The reason I have to give Panini's 5 stars is this:

IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE OPEN FOR DRINKS AFTER THE PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME GAME.  (what the...?)

Yeah, you'd think bars nearby would advertise that they're open and/or be open...to capitalize on the number of out-of-towners who are staying the night.  At THE biggest event of the year in your town...but that would require jumping at an opportunity and/or common sense.

So -- Sunday night, game's over, no alcohol allowed at the game.  It's 11:30pm, where do you go?  Tim's Tavern was supposed to be open until 1am daily, but when I went there it was closed.  I asked them what would be open, and they gave me incorrect directions to a hole in the wall ("Lakeview's?") place down the road.  So we went back up to where our hotel was, figuring there might be a chain still open.  It was then that we saw the cars...all at Panini's.  Score.

Tons of people (especially girls, actually) with jerseys on after the game.  A good amount of locals.  Huge place.  People were spread out among the different areas -- chilling in the outdoor tiki lounge, tearing it up on the dance floor, or eating/drinking at one of the indoor bars.

And what was even better?  They served food until closing as well.  That's a rarity even in big cities like NYC and DC, where the kitchen is already closed by 10-12pm, even on weekends.  Panini's served straight through 'til 2am.  I didn't even hear a last call...

We split a large deluxe pizza for $10.99, and it was heavy on the toppings and had a tasty, tangy sauce that was actually reminiscent of Papa John's.  The crust, though, was the best part.  Crispy on the outside and doughy-chewy on the inside, it reminded me of Pizza Hut crust without all the grease.  I would have gotten one of their sandwiches, which is similar to Primanti's of Pittsburgh -- with cole slaw and french fries inside the sandwich -- if I hadn't had one at said Primanti's earlier that day for lunch.  Otherwise, I would have tried the bacon & egg one.  Sounds wrong but delicious at the same time.

Thanks, Panini's, for saving the night.

Panini's is a great place to grab a drink.  A decent selection of beer on tap and the bartenders are fast and friendly.  I've had many a good night here rolling with my motley crue.  The patio out back is a nice addition and allows me to escape the most oppressive part of a night out at Panini's...the smoke!

There are definitely places that are worse but when is Canton (and OH in general) going to get with the program and realize how much it sucks to go out and then have to burn your go-out clothes on a flaming bier the next day because they smell like the recliner in your buzzy-voiced grandma's house?  Seriously, guys, smoking is for ham.

But if you can get over the smoke then you will have a good time at Panini's.  It's a big place so I never feel too terribly crowded.  There are some huge TVs and they'll always be showing the important sporting events.  You can also order food there.  I don't eat wings but I once held a platter of wings for a friend to eat and I wouldn't recommend that unless you're one of those people who likes to watch documentaries on plastic surgery where they show the actual surgery.

But yes, go to Panini's!  If things go well for you there is an Ambiance just down the block and you can pick up some things for you and your flavor of the moment for the after party.

It's a sports bar with a connecting bar that has dancing.  Outside is fun, has a tropical theme and a sunset mural that makes you forget you're in 100% humidity, adjacent to a parking lot in Canton, Ohio.  We went there with a group I liked, met a few cool people, but the rest of what I'd like to say will just make me look like a snob.

    ===Update===
Smoking Ban passed in Ohio, yet people are still smoking in here.
