Snuffys!!!
So, I grew up very close to the Pantagis Renaissance. Â However, sometimes I forget that it has that name because it is called Snuffy's colloquially, by many people in the town. Â "Snuffy's" is actually just the name of the clam bar / steak house / restaurant which is located inside.
Well, so Pantagis is pretty big, like a labyrinth, and when you go there, you will probably get a little bit lost. Â "Do we go down this staircase or is it off to this side?" Â "Is this the right chapel?" Â "Are those bridesmaids for our wedding or someone else's?" Â Because you see, there are several chapels, many reception rooms, and lots of different events going on at once. Â I've been to many events here, including my uncle and aunt's 25th anniversary, my friend's renewal of vows, an awards ceremony where I was given a scholarship by the Optimist Club for being a happy go lucky gal, and a high school graduation party. Â All of those events were in different reception rooms. Â The decor varies dramatically but is always.. Â dramatic! Â It is, of course, the Pantagis Renaissance!!
Sometimes the rooms are chilly and the food is just okay. But it's "luxury", at a pretty good price, with lots of food to fill your tummy and drinks to keep your booty shaking throughout the night.
I hope I may be so lucky as to go to even more events at  the Pantagis Renaissance in the future.  It's good memories.
Unfortunately, I was never able to actually eat here, because the wedding couldn't happen here. This is why. Â

Wow--I think this pretty much sums up what kind of business this is: <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fconsumerist.com%2F2012%2F11%2F27%2Fhurricane-forces-bride-groom-to-celebrate-wedding-in-a-gym-while-they-lose-10k-on-reception-hall%2F&s=8bb35cb5eea575babbb2752149b76555b494a04553dfad70ff518414e88cbd37" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://consumerist.com/2…</a>
