I enjoyed Brasa Grille but was expecting more after reading the great reviews here on Yelp. For lunch I started off with the garlic shrimp - while it was tasty, I believe it is a bit pricey for what you get. I also tried the Portuguese BBQ chicken and ribs. The half rack of ribs was quite sizable and I couldn't even finish it all. They had good flavor but were slightly on the salty side for me.
The other night I also tried their paella for takeout - the chicken was way overcooked to the point of being inedible. The seafood was good but overall the dish was a pretty big disappointment.
A tiny, family-run BYO restaurant. Great food and friendly, attentive staff. Â Highly recommend it. Â There are only about 4 tables and about 6 bar seats so its a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table. Â Prices are somewhat on the high side but the food is great and portions are generous.
Review Source:We don't get into this area much - generally when we're headed to the Great Swamp Environmental Center - but we've had lunch at Brasa twice, and been favorably impressed both times. Â One of these days we'll go back for dinner.
The food's excellent, the service is attentive (given that there was only one waitress handling the whole room at lunch). Â Prices are moderate by most standards, at least at lunch. Â Being BYOB makes it even more of a bargain.
It's a bit hard to find, being tucked away at the hind end of a strip mall, but it's worth searching out .
One point -- the parking spots immediately outside the resto are posted for a short parking time - maybe 15 minutes ?  I don't know how energetically the Chatham po-po enforce them, but I'd rather not add a parking fine to the cost of my meal, so I always park  a few yards away, where there are no such limitations.
