We've been eating there since they first opened over 30 years ago (same family running it throughout). Â This remains our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Â The food is always good. Â Dishes are never overly salty or greasy. Â My favorites are the twice cooked pork, the chicken with eggplant and the mixed vegetables. Â My son likes the General's Chicken and my daughter the scallion pancakes. Â But really everything we order there is always good, as is the service. I would like a slightly thinner skin on the dumplings, but hey, nothing is perfect.
Review Source:Bean Curd is a pretty good Chinese restaurant. Â Certainly not the best I have ever had, but the food was tasty and the service was fast. Â I had late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. Â I guess that may be because of the odd time I showed up. Â But that did not matter, the staff was friendly and took care of us quickly. Â I had their version of Kung Pao chicken with extra chilis. Â It was spicy and delicious. Â I also tried the chicken with black bean sauce. It was also pretty tasty. Â If I am every hungry and in the area, I will definitely stop back in here.
4 stars... would eat again!
