I was in the area so i went to Winberie's  for lunch. It was not busy and I was quite surprised.  I guess b/c it was 1:30p. My friend and I were immediately seated and greeted by our waiter. He handed us menus and took our drink order and mentioned they make fresh brewed ice tea, which I ordered. It was excellent.
They had a few lunch specials along w/ a lunch menu. Ranging in prince from $ 8 to $17 approximately.Salads range from $10 and up averaging 13 dollars. They also have burgers, and sandwiches.
My friend and I started w/ French onion soup. It was pretty good. The cheese was melted over French bread and the  broth was flavorful and loaded with onions. The only thing it could have been hotter. (I like really hot soup)
I had the Chicken Quesada based on previous yelp reviews. It was good but I've had better. I didn't care for veggies inside. It came with sour cream, guac, and salsa. Nice portion.
My friend had the special , it was a sliced steak sandwich w/ red roasted peppers and provolone. cheese, on a chabatta type bread. We shared our orders,so we could taste a little of each. The cheese was melted the steak was seasoned and tender. The roasted peppers added texture and a wonderful flavor This should always be on the menu.
Our waiter was very good. He refilled my ice tea several times without asking. He even came over to apologize when he thought our food didn't arrive quick enough. All in all we had a lovely lunch. This place has nice decor, small bar though. Casual dress. Great happy hour deals! Worth stopping bye if your in the neighborhood.
Came here a few weeks ago with a friend who just moved to Summit, as well as our other friends from Brooklyn, and it was snowing out. Â There was a bit of a wait but they still were able to seat the 4 of us quickly. Â I got the chicken marsala with the green beans and red peppers and mashed potatoes, and was satisfied. Â My one friend had the homemade chips with cheese and loved them! Â It was pretty crowded and yet not too loud. Â I've been to the Princeton location back when I used to figure skate and my family went to that Winberie's after a skating competition, and it was also a pleasant experience. Â A nice atmosphere for all.
Review Source:Visited Winberie's for the location and convenience. My husband and I ate dinner here w/ another couple. The menu is big, lots of choices, restaurant has a lot of seating, bar does not. Some the the entrees are not worth the price. Salads/Sandwiches run about $8-17. Entrees $17-27. They do have a nice daily happy hr from 330-630 1/2 price drinks/appetizers at the bar.
Not a lot of healthy options on the menu, but you're out to dinner right?
The cobb salad was OK . The burgers were OK as well. My husband got the crabcake entree (not worth $22), it was more cake than crab.
This is a good place for a quick bite and drink. It  does get pretty busy and reservations are only taken for parties of 6 +.
