Came here because it is close to home and the other reviews were positive. Â Will return because it was totally delish and price/quality ratio is excellent. Â BYOB; booths are a little tight, friendly service. Â Super generous portions of very tasty steak, shrimp, fries. Â Deep-fried plantain hit the spot, and dessert flan ordered with two spoons to share was actually the size of two complete servings. Â They are now officially on our rotation for a relaxed meal out!
Review Source:What's up with the Portuguese-Brazilian fusion all across Hillside and Union?
Yeah, I know both countries have had a long bilateral relationship since the early 1500s, but why is it that both cuisines seemingly make up the bulk of Union County restaurants?
Obvious answer.
But off to Rei Da Picanha, and off I went.
There's an amazing dish here worth a drive/commute from NYC --- their Dobradinha (Beef Tripe) is some of the best around.
If you want a taste of Brazil, go to Rei Da Picanha; if you want fast Ribs, Rice, Fries on the go, go to Route 22 BBQ (which is about a 15-second walk).
Delicious Brazilian/Portuguese restaurant, in a large restaurant located on a remote on the outskirts of Route 22.
