I ordered the Jalea for myself. About what you would expect with fried seafood. Average taste. The surprise is when I got the bill and they charged me for the double-portion when I specifically asked for the personal. Â I told the waiter and he admitted that he may have accidentally chosen the portion for 2 people, but said there was nothing he could do because I already ate the food. Way to scam your customers. Beware of this place!
Review Source:I was in the area tonight and needed some food to go to have a late dinner with the wife at home. Â She wanted Latin American food and I had remembered seeing this place. Â I went with the whole pollo a la brasa with rice and beans. Â For $16 tax included, they gave me a whole chicken, rice and beans. Â The chicken was extremely fresh for 10PM at night and was seasoned quite nice, I even noticed a cinnamon flavor which I have never tasted in pollo a la brasa.. Â The rice was heavy on the garlic flavor, not bad at all. Â Beans were standard issue. Â I would go back again if in the area.
Review Source:While I am half Peruvian and extremely experienced in the art of eating good food I can consider myself very well familiar and can give good insight on Peruvian Food, dust found DA to be okay. Â
My review is solely based on Rotisserie Whole Chicken Combo which consists of a whole rotisserie chicken, french fries, and salad. Â I thought the chicken was a little dry and not as tasty as I have enjoyed, Tumi was pretty good (see my review for Tumi).. Â If you really want the real Pollo a la Brasa go to Peru' but if you dont have the luxury of doing so try DA.
