Wawel Delicatessen

Really good pierogies, stuffed cabbage, cold cuts, and the best kielbasa I've ever had.  Because there are so many choices, just ask them for the best stuff and they'll steer you in the right direction.  On Fridays they make a beet soup to die for.  Absolutely love it!  As for the prices, very reasonable.  For about $6, you can get enough meat, potatoes and vegetables to feed to two light eaters - definitely too much for just one.  And there are always a variety of hot meal choices to choose from.  It's just a great little place serving up some real comfort food at very affordable prices.  Love it!

Small deli. They speak English well. Can get such items as Milka chocolate, fresh deli items, canned and boxed polish staple foods and hot lunches. Prices are half of what the Foodtown would charge for deli and much fresher.  Long lines on sat and sun mornings when the moms are shopping for the weekend, but worth the wait for fresh kielbasa or bacon.
