DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
Unless you don't care if your food ever arrives. I placed an order online just after 10pm this evening, and was given an estimated delivery time of 10:45pm. I waited until 11pm and when it hadn't arrived, I called the restaurant. And I continue calling the restaurant. And no one has answered, because it appears to be closed. And now it is too late to order from any other restaurant, so I won't be eating tonight.
Unbelievable!!!!!!
Nick's Pizza & Deli keeps coming through for our community. Nick's generously discounted pizza for over 170 SPF LTC 100 Delegates and Volunteer Staff!!! Thank you to Paul and his entire family!!
If GREAT food and supporting a business that GIVES BACK to the community is important to you...This is THE PLACE to go!!
I'm still forming my opinion but it doesn't look good. First time we ordered a plain pie, spicy buffalo wings and Caesar salad to pick up (was quicker than waiting for delivery). The pizza was okay, not great, a generous sprinkling of oregano but lack of memorable flavor and the crust was a little too doughy and not cooked enough. The wings came with the buffalo sauce on the side, which was a nice touch as the wings remained crispy and my son was able to eat some sans sauce. But no blue cheese dressing, despite it being pictured on the menu with the wings. The Caesar salad was not good. I think the dressing was homemade, which earns them points, but it tasted way too fishy and oily. We gave it another try with a barbecue chicken pizza, more spicy wings, and sweet potato fries. Pizza was just plain bad - again, crust was too doughy and not browned enough. The barbecue sauce was awful - a bright red
color and much too sweet, barely tasted like BBQ sauce. The cheese just kinda sat there, not melted enough. The kids hated it. The wings this time came with sauce already applied, but still no blue cheese dressing. But at least the wings are pretty good. The sweet potato fries might be better ordered and eaten in-house, as they were completely limp and soggy when we ate them. We will give them one more try, to see if their cold subs are any good (we've been dying for a good sub since Pannetone's). But for pizza, we will continue to drive to Gennaro's on South Ave.
Update: thumbs down on the sub from Nick's. Â Didn't like it at all. Â The only thing I would recommend from Nick's are the wings.
