Extremely rude employees. Waited for 10 minutes and still my order was wrong. I came back through the drive thru and waited another 10 minutes for them to correct my order. While I waited I ate half my fries. I gave them back the whole order including the fires. Â I asked for new fries with my corrected order and she told me I already ate my fries. No apology for the inconvenience, no hot fries. I asked for the old fries back, she couldn't do that either. I usually don't complain, I just don't go back. I don't pay for poor customer service. On a strip with at least 5 other fast food places, I don't have to. No longer a fan. Won't be back.
Review Source:White Castle is what it is. Â The original slider. Â I grew up on them as a kid and lust for tem because they are not available in New Englad, unless you get the frozen, or at a 7-11, which sadly I must confess to having done.
When in Jersey, people will have their own sugesstions as to which location has the best burgers. Â Lately, I will have to say it is the South Ave location, Â The burgers tasted really fresh and not as greasy as they do at other WC's. they were spot on.
Is it as good as the child hood memory ? Â Well is any thing ?
This location hit the spot, until th next time I return to Jersey, land of my fore fathers.
I'm from Cali, so of course I wanted to try the White Castle burgers made famous by Harold & Kumar!
I was completely sober when I rolled up to the mic and ordered one 72¢ White Castle Cheeseburger... so I guess my experience was skewed since I wasn't blitzed out of my mind.
The verdict? Definitely not worth the hype and if I could go back in time to the days where I could just daydream about the wonderful burger, then I would. You'd be just as disappointed as I was. It's nothin' special, nothin' fresh, nothin' unique. Save yourselves Yelpees!
